Taiwanese Style Jelly Cake Powder: Chewy, Smooth & Translucent

Instructions

Prepare the mixture according to the 1(g) jelly cake powder: 5-6(cc) hot water ratio.

  1. Add 1 kg of Taiwanese Style Jelly Cake Powder to 5000-6000cc of cold water. Stir well over low heat until completely dissolved. Bring to a boil, then turn off the heat.

  2. Pour the mixture out into molds and allow it to cool at room temperature. Chill in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours before serving.

Suggested ratios for the flavor jelly cake:

Prepare the mixture according to the 1(g) any syrup or drink powder: 1(g) jelly cake powder: 5-6(cc) hot water ratio. 

  • Adding flavoring powder:

  1. Add 1 kg of Taiwanese Style Jelly Cake Powder to 5000-6000cc of cold water. Stir well over low heat until completely dissolved.
  2. When the mixture from step 1 reaches approximately 50~60℃ to 60℃, add the Flavoring Powder and stir thoroughly until dissolved. Turn off the heat.
  3. Pour the mixture out into molds and allow it to cool at room temperature. Chill in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours before serving.
  • Adding flavoring syrup:

  1. Add 1 kg of Taiwanese Style Jelly Cake Powder to 5000-6000cc of cold water. Stir well over low heat until completely dissolved.

  2. Pour in the Flavoring Syrup and stir well. Bring the mixture to a boil, then turn off the heat.

  3. Pour the mixture out into molds and allow it to cool at room temperature. Chill in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours before serving.
